Tea Party of Louisiana will host a “Lift the Gulf Oil Drilling Moratorium” town hall meeting in support of Congressman Cassidy’s bill on Monday, July 12, 2010, at Boudreaux’s in Baton Rouge from 7 PM – 8:30 PM. The Tea Party of Louisiana has invited Congressman Cassidy and several other Business & Industry speakers to present the drastic economic impact of this ill conceived and arbitrary Oil Drilling Moratorium.

Congressman Cassidy’s Kick Off Party on July 17th
Bill Cassidy’s kick off event is quickly approaching. This party will betaking place on Saturday, July 17th from 4:00 to 6:30 p. m.Everyoneis invited to come out to the Denham Springs Hampton Inn at 201Rushing Road to celebrate the beginning of the 2010 campaign season!
A country band will provide music and jambalaya and beverages will be served. Afew volunteers are needed to help greet and sign in attendees. Be sure to invite all of your friends andfamily regardless of whether you can help out or not!

The Rally for Economic Survival will give a united voice to Louisiana citizens impacted by the federal moratorium on deepwater drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Together we will send a message to the Obama administration to lift the moratorium for Louisiana’s jobs and America’s energy future.
The rally will consist of speakers covering a broad section of those affected by the moratorium including Lt. Governor Scott Angelle. There will be entertainment and a video booth for you to send a personal message to the administration.
